about my past and future

Before you know it, our semester will be finish soon. I enjoy all the time with my teachers and classmates, they always give their encouragement to me. These days are my happiest time in my life, I will remember all of you.

About my future, I have a lot of plan . But I know if I want let them come true, English is the important thing. So I will continue my Enlish class at TAFE when I start my Accounting course. That would be a bit hard for me, beacuse I will be busy even it's weekend. But it's worth to try.

I love this country since I saw it at my first time, I'm not only learning useful language but also some real meaning about life from people who live here. In fact, I had some very terrible memories in the past several years, that's why I left my country last year. I thought I will have more happiness at here, but then I finally know- the real happiness should be come from my heart, it depends on myself.
So if you want change your life, you just can do it by yourself.
Anyway, as people said: Every cloud has a silver lining. I wish everyone will have a good life they want . Hope all of you have a bright future in this lively country.

Gong Bao Ji Ding

Gong Bao Ji Ding

Ingredients
2 (about 2/3pound total): boneless chicken breasts, without skin

3: garlic cloves and an equivalent amount of fresh ginger

5: scallions, white parts only

2 tablespoons: peanut oil
A generous handful of dried red chiles (at least 10),
preferably Sichuanese

1 teaspoon: whole Sichuan pepper

FOR THE MARINADE
1/2 teaspoon : salt
2 teaspoons: light soy sauce
1 teaspoon: Shaoxing rice wine or medium-dry sherry
1 or 1/2 teaspoons: potato flour or 2 1/4 teaspoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon : water

FOR THE SAUCE
3 teaspoons : sugar
3/4 teaspoon : potato flour, or 1 1/8 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon: dark soy sauce
1 teaspoon: light soy sauce
3 teaspoons : Chinkiang or black Chinese vinegar
1 teaspoon : sesame oil
1 tablespoon: chicken stock or water

Method
1. Cut the chicken(no skin) as evenly as possible into 1/2-inch strips and then cut these into small cubes. Place in a small bowl and mix in the marinade ingredients.
2. Peel and thinly slice the garlic and ginger, and chop the scallions into chunks as long as their diameter (to match the chicken cubes). Snip the chiles in half or into 2-inch sections.
3. Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl — if you dip your finger in, you can taste the sweet-sour base of the gong bao flavor.
4. Season the wok, then add 2 tablespoons of oil and heat over a high flame. When the oil is hot but not yet smoking, add the chiles and Sichuan pepper and stir-fry briefly until they are crisp and the oil is spicy and fragrant. Take care not to burn the spices (you can remove the wok from the heat if necessary to prevent overheating).
5. Quickly add the chicken and fry over a high flame, stirring constantly. As soon as the chicken cubes have separated, add the ginger, garlic, and scallions and continue to stir-fry for a few minutes until they are fragrant and the meat is cooked through (test one of the larger pieces to make sure).
6. Give the sauce a stir and add it to the wok, continuing to stir and toss. As soon as the sauce has become thick and shiny, add the peanuts, stir them in, and serve.

If I could be an animal, I would be a cat.

If I could be an animal, I would be a cat. Because cats are very lovely, funning, tidy and quiet animals. They can sleeping on the their own bed, or on the owner's leg. When they feel boring, they can go to garden or climb other neighborhood's roof, even swiming in a swiming pool in Summer, they looking forward freedom, and keep their favourite hobby.
But if cat needn't eat rat ,I will be very pleasure to would be a cat.

About Waratah

Waratah

Floral Emblem of New South Wales
Telopea speciosissima, was proclaimed the official floral emblem of New South Wales on 24 October 1962. Robert Brown (1773-1858) named the genus Telopea in 1810 from specimens collected in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.

The Waratah is a stout, erect shrub which may grow to 4 metres. The dark green leathery leaves, 13-25 cm in length, are arranged alternately and tend to be coarsely toothed. The flowers are grouped in rounded heads 7 to 10 cm in diameter surrounded by crimson bracts, about 5 to 7 cm long. It flowers from September to November and nectar-seeking birds act as pollinators. Large winged seeds are released when the brown leathery pods split along one side.

my holiday

In two past weeks, it was raining all day long, usually boring. We can't go to park, library, shopping centre, and so on. I just stayed at home and watched DVD.
I still remeber one of these moives, it was give me a very strong memory. It's a an old moive "Bruce Alxmighty", it said a unlucky man always complained everything around him, he want to get success in his career, but He found others who were not as nice as him got more chances than he got.
He was very angry and complained the God didn't give him the luck he want.
One day, God desided to give him some power, so that he can use this power to do everything. In the begining the man was very happy, because he could change everything. Sometimes he enjoyed it very much.
However, he found this job was not so easy as he thought, it's a very hard work. As a God, he must answer everyone's question all time.
In the end, he gave up this job, because he found God didn't have real power. If someone wants change completely his life, he only can do it by himself.
That means --Real power is in your own hands.
This is a very nice moive, because it told me that God always make a fair decision, he give everyone the same chance, but if you don't want miss every chance, you must try your best to do everything.

Harmony day

Harmony Day is very strange holiday for me before I came to here. I'm very curious about it.

So many people come form different counties, and they bring their culture, their hobbies, and their different everything. In this new country, everyone need learn more new things, and want to keep their own culture, that's a problem. Because sometimes different culture have many opposite direction. We should respect other culture and religion if we want have a peaceful life.

We have been invited to a breakfast on Harmony Day in TAFE hall, and three people make their speech, they have been living here several years, and they came from different countries, but they're enjoy their new life very much, this is the biggest point that they are same.

I feel I have a new large family when we stood and sang "we are one" together, and I'm very happy that I'm one member of the large family.

When I came home, I put some orange flowers in my house, this is my first Harmony Day, it was unforgotten .
